- Bangoon (aka Alison’s Uncle) – An outtake from Cannonball Adderley's Somethin’ Else (1958). Recorded on March 9, 1958, with pianist Hank Jones, this track features Miles Davis as a sidema
- Jean de Fleur – An alternate take from Grant Green's Idle Moments (1964). The original 8:09 take was recorded on November 4, 1964; a shorter version was later produced for the album.
- Dance Cadaverous – An alternate take from Wayne Shorter's Speak No Evil (1966). Recorded on December 24, 1964, this track features a stellar lineup including Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Freddie Hubbard, and Elvin Jones.
- Moanin’ – An alternate take from Art Blakey's Moanin’ (1958). Recorded on October 30, 1958, this session is one of the Jazz Messengers' most celebrated works.
- On The Sunny Side of the Street – An outtake from Jimmy Smith's Back At The Chicken Shack (1960). Recorded on April 25, 1960, this track is a rendition of the classic 1930 jazz standard composed by Jimmy McHugh and Dorothy Fields.
- Lover – An outtake from Sonny Clark's Cool Struttin’ (1958). Recorded on January 5, 1958, this version of the Rodgers and Hart composition features Art Farmer, Jackie McLean, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.
These tracks, previously released as bonus content on CD editions, are now presented together on vinyl for the first time, offering collectors and enthusiasts a deeper insight into the rich legacy of Blue Note's jazz recordings.
