A fixture in the jazz scene for over two decades, Thomas Marriott has become a respected trumpeter, composer, and producer. Known for his versatility, Marriott has worked alongside jazz icons such as Maynard Ferguson, Roy McCurdy, Julian Priester, and Ernie Watts. He has also collaborated with contemporary legends including Joe Locke, Orrin Evans, Steve Wilson, and Charlie Hunter.
Beyond his collaborative work, Marriott is a prominent solo artist, with 14 previous albums to his name. His recordings have earned critical acclaim, with Screen Time set to continue this tradition. Marriott’s albums have topped jazz radio airplay charts, received 4 1/2 stars in DownBeat magazine, and been featured on NPR.
In addition to his musical achievements, Marriott is deeply involved in the Seattle jazz community.
