Michael Bublé's highly anticipated Christmas album - his holiday gift to fans around the globe has been released. Christmas is the record the multi-Grammy winning Canadian has been dreaming about making for years. "It's always been my favorite holiday and I knew that one day I would record the ultimate Christmas record. I wanted it to sound and feel very authentic -- pretty much like a live studio album. I'm very proud of it," commented Bublé. Christmas follows up his critically acclaimed Crazy Love CD, which sold over seven million copies worldwide.
Christmas, produced by David Foster, Bob Rock and Humberto Gatica was recorded primarily at the legendary Capitol Recording Studios in Hollywood and The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver. It includes guest performances by Shania Twain, Mexican singing star Thalia, long time collaborators Naturally 7 and The Puppini Sisters. Christmas includes such classics as "Silent Night," "White Christmas," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" and a Bublé original "Cold December Night."
Bublé's presence around the holiday season may rival Santa Claus himself with an NBC TV Special scheduled to air December 6th at 8:00pm, an upcoming CBS 60 Minutes profile, an NBC Christmas Tree Lighting performance November 30th, a co-hosting stint on Regis & Kelly on December 15 and 16 and a visit to the show on November 7th. He will also appear on Saturday Night Live on December 17th. An exclusive deluxe edition of Christmas is now available at Target stores nationwide and at Target.com. This Target album features three exclusive holiday classics including "Winter Wonderland," "Frosty The Snowman," and "Silver Bells."
Simultaneous to the release of Bublé's Christmas, GetGlue, the leading social network for entertainment, will embark in their first fully integrated music package with the launch of The Michael Bublé GetGlue Holiday Calendar. Fans are invited to check into various Bublé activities, including TV and radio, trivia, etc. to obtain exclusive content, stickers and more. http://www.bublechristmas.com/
