Southern California-based jazz guitarist and composer Dr. Dave has unveiled his latest single, “Reserved for Abbie,” a heartfelt ballad that exemplifies his signature smooth jazz style. This track features the legendary saxophonist Ronnie Laws, whose soulful improvisation adds depth and emotion to the romantic composition.
“Reserved for Abbie” draws inspiration from a past long-distance relationship, with Dr. Dave conveying longing and affection through melodic guitar lines and emotive lyrics. The song includes dreamy female backing vocals that echo sentiments like, “Reserved for Abbie/In my world…She’s the girl,” culminating in the poignant plea, “Come back.”
