Due out December 6th, the deluxe edition will feature newly-recorded tracks from Porter. Ahead of the full record’s release, Porter has shared one of the fresh additions from the deluxe: the song “We Have All The Time Of The World,” first sung by Louis Armstrong in 1969 and re-adapted today by UK producers Cam Blackwood & Swindle.
“I chose this song because at this time of year we need nothing more, nothing less, only love,” Porter shared in a statement. “This powerful message of the lyric is just extraordinary to me, and an honor to bring to the people, refreshed and renewed.”
The orchestral contributions to Christmas Wish were recorded at Abbey Road, and aside from Cam Blackwood & Swindle’s contribution, the entire album was produced by Porter’s longtime collaborator Troy Miller. The deluxe also features an appearance from Grammy-winning Bronx native Samara Joy, who sings on a cover of Frank Loesser’s ‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”
Following the deluxe edition’s release, Porter will embark on a series of live tour dates in the YK in 2025. Those include a performance at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall and a closing show in May at Utilita Arena in Cardiff.
