“This Is
Where I Wanna Be” has opened many portals for distribution as the year comes to
a close. Sharon Marie Cline is excited
about the continued success domestically and abroad that she's receiving
through print media, targeted publications, noted radio shows and video
presentations.
Sharon
Marie Cline has a lot to smile about these days. The momentum of her current CD “This Is Where
I Wanna Be” has a pulse of its own. Its
already spanned the globe and she couldn’t be prouder, for it keeps bringing
her to where “she wants to be”.
It’s
important to Cline to stay connected to her fans, not only does she have a door
at every portal of social media, she works the technology in her favor. From radio shows, to CD release parties,
magazine reviews and interviews, her own social network, to producing a music
video complimenting one of the key tunes from her release entitled “Laughter In
The Rain.” Through these efforts,
Sharon seeks opportunities to perform on worldwide jazz festivals and concert
stages.
“Originally
lighthearted song about lovers in the rain, Cline turns it into a moody and
seductive slow dance that leads to some optimistic improvised lyric and
vocalizations at the end ~ almost as if the sun is just about to peek out from
the clouds. That’s a perfect metaphor
for Cline’s emergence. This is where
jazz vocal fans are going to want to be too! ~ Jonathan Widran (Jazz montly.com
~ Standing Ovations Music Reviews.
“This Is
Where I Wanna Be” has been taking me where I wanna go and is continually taking
me to new horizons” says Cline jokingly.
“Sharon
doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to her marketing efforts. She’s everywhere” says Jaijai Jackson of The
Jazz Network Worldwide. “No wonder she
is seeing results spring-boarding her forward to her goals. ‘This Is Where I Wanna Be” has put her finger
on the button that’s been garnering domestic and international acclaim.”

“This Is
Where I Wanna Be” leaves me with some hope that my standards for jazz vocal
technique have not been totally abandoned “ ~ AXS Entertainment by Stephen
