The 50-year-old Monterey Jazz Festival has announced its star-studded lineup for 2007, featuring trumpeter Terence Blanchard, vocalist Diana Krall, pianists Dave Brubeck and Gonzalo Rubacalba, saxophonists Sonny Rollins and Ornette Coleman, and many more jazz favorites. The event is scheduled to take place on the weekend of September 21st through 23rd at the Monterey, California Fairgrounds. Shows will occur in the afternoons and evenings, from Friday through Sunday, at the large Arena/Lyons stage and at five additional venues on the grounds.
