Gladys Knight will be among the many female singers who are joining
Dionne Warwick on her upcoming duets album,
My Friends and Me. It’s due for releas on Nov. 7 on the Concord label and the album is being helmed by her son, producer
Damon Elliott. Warwick revisits
Burt Bacharach and
Hal David-penned classics like
Wishin' and Hopin',
Walk on By and
Close to You.
Mya, Reba McIntire, Kelis, Gloria Estefan, Wynonna Judd, Cheyenne Elliott, Lisa Tucker, Deborah Cox, Da Brat, Chante Moore and
Angie Stone also appear on the album.
