The reissue, set for release on April 25, 2025, features a picture disc vinyl with remastered tracks from the original analog tapes, including fan-favorite hits like “Whipped Cream,” “Lollipops and Roses,” “Ladyfingers,” and the GRAMMY-winning “A Taste of Honey.”
60th Anniversary Edition of Whipped Cream & Other Delights – A Monumental Reissue
Herb Alpert, whose musical legacy continues to shape American pop and jazz, celebrates the enduring influence of his groundbreaking album, Whipped Cream & Other Delights, with a special 60th Anniversary Edition. Available April 25, 2025, the reissue features a remastered 180-gram vinyl pressing, capturing the magic of the original recording, which became one of the best-selling albums of all time.
Whipped Cream & Other Delights was first released in 1965, quickly becoming a cultural touchstone, spending five weeks at #1 on the Billboard Albums Chart in 1965 and 1966. The album’s iconic cover and its unforgettable tracks helped define Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass’ sound, which would go on to outsell The Beatles in 1966.
The album's timeless tunes, including “A Taste of Honey” (which won Record of the Year at the GRAMMYs), have solidified its place in music history. Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - A Legendary Tour
In addition to the anniversary edition release, Herb Alpert has reformed his legendary Tijuana Brass Band for the first time in over 40 years. The group kicked off their U.S. tour this March, performing sold-out shows in Florida, Georgia, and Kentucky. The Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass & Other Delights tour includes iconic hits like "The Lonely Bull," "Spanish Flea," and "This Guy’s in Love with You." Upcoming stops include Detroit, Buffalo, Boston, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Denver, and more.
Alpert’s highly anticipated tour also includes special performances in New York City at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater, celebrating his 90th birthday on March 31st and April 1st.

Beyond his musical accolades, Herb Alpert’s influence in the music industry extends to his leadership at A&M Records, where he helped launch the careers of artists like Janet Jackson, Quincy Jones, The Carpenters, and Sheryl Crow.
