RETURN TO FOREVER - TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED!

Return To Forever, the classic jazz-fusion group from the ‘70’s has reunited for its first tour in 25 years. This amazing group features keyboardist Chick Corea, guitarist Al Di Meola, bassist Stanley Clarke, and drummer Lenny White. The Return To Forever reunion will play more than 50 dates in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The tour kicks off May 29th in Austin, Texas, and will wrap up on August 7th in New York. Along the way Return To Forever will make stops at major music festivals, including Montreal, Canada; Montreux, Switzerland; and Saratoga Springs, New York.

In addition, original members Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke are producing a double-CD anthology to coincide with the tour. The reunion disc will include remixed and remastered tracks from classic Return To Forever albums issued between 1973 and 1976. Return To Forever originally disbanded after a five-year run that ended in 1977. But after a 1983 reunion tour, many thought Return To Forever might never return. Corea says another reunion was always a possibility, particularly with pressure from fans. "We never stopped talking about it ... but in the past couple of years we started talking more seriously about 'hey, when can we set some time down to actually get together and play?'" Corea told The Associated Press. "There were also a lot of requests from fans. One thing that became apparent as the decades flipped along was that people remembered the group, which was kind of surprising and also heartening."
