2005 COMCAST SAN JOSE JAZZ FESTIVAL

The 2005 Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival will feature Eddie Palmieri, Ernestine Anderson, Hank Jones, Eliane Elias, Poncho Sanchez, Soulalive, the Bad Plus, Karrin Allyson, Jason Moran, Louis Bellson, Bettye LaVette, Michelle Armador & The True Believers, Kosmik Renaissance featuring the Vestax Fader Board, and Rene Marie. The four-day free event is scheduled for August 11-14 and will take place on nine stages in downtown San Jose, California. Over 165,000 people are expected to attend the event, as the San Jose Jazz Festival is the largest free jazz festival in the world. The festival is being presented by Southwest Airlines and Comcast.
