ANTHONY DAVID - LOVE OUT LOUD

Anthony David's one of those cats that just keeps getting better and better – taking an already-great sound, and finding a way to dig deeper to the core with each new record – and serve things up with a freshness that always keeps us wanting more! This time around, Anthony's working with a core combo called The Do Gooders – a lineup that almost brings more of an old school soul feel than before – one that has David's vocals coming across with a proud, vibrant feel that only gets stronger as the album moves on – as if he knows he's coming up with a contemporary classic in the process! Titles include "Love Out Loud", "Can't Look Down", "So Jaded", "Livin It Up", "Official", "Sweet Pain", and "A Way For Me". ~ Dusty Groove

NENEH CHERRY & THE THING - THE CHERRY THING REMIXES

A remixed version of the collaboration between Neneh Cherry and The Thing – but a set with a sound so different, it may as well be an additional record from project! The remixes here really take a lot of liberties with the original music – so that the resulting tracks aren't just jazzy numbers with a bit of flourish, and instead sparkle with this really new creative energy – core elements pulled from their roots and relayered in very different ways – with almost more of a focus on Cherry's wonderful vocals overall. Titles include "Accordion" remixed by Hortlax Cobra, "Dream Baby Dream" remixed by Four Tet, "What Reason Could I Give" remixed by Kim Hiorthoy, "Cashback" remixed by Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, "Sudden Moment" remixed by Merzbow, "Dirt" remixed by Kurzman, and "Golden Heart" remixed by Nymph. ~ Dusty Groove
