NICOLAS BEARDE FEATURED ON JAZZ NETWORK

Nicolas Bearde is an alumnus of Bobby McFerrin's renowned vocal ensemble " Voicestra" and it's offshoot, the vocal sextet SoVoSo, who’s sound has been likened to Jon Lucien, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye and Lou Rawls. Bearde has clearly carved out his own style. A seasoned showman on stage Bearde’s personality shines through his sense of humor, expressive ballads to up-tempo tunes engaging a rapport that captures his audiences as he takes them on a musical journey. We can’t forget his influences as he stepped into the world of performance, “I listened to a lot of radio, and took in everything from the Temptations, Dionne Warwick, Johnny Mathis, and Roy Orbison to Etta James, Lou Rawls and Arthur Prysock.” His listening ear runs the gamut, he’s been singing jazz and rhythm and blues for years and is well seasoned and mature in his delivery. Having world class musicianship as his foundation there is no-telling just how far Bearde’s artistry will take him.

“The Jazz Network Worldwide acknowledges Nicolas Bearde as one of our jazz ambassadors” says creator Jaijai Jackson who is featuring his music catalogue May 10th through May 16th. “Crossing The Line”, “All About Love” and “Live at Yoshi’s ~ A Salute to Lou” all produced on his own label, ‘Right Groove Records’ champion the impressive array of musical offerings available to date in Nicolas Bearde’s current catalog.
