CINEMATIC: CLASSIC FILM MUSIC REMIXED
Cinematic: Classic Film Music Remixed takes some of the greatest movie music of all time from Quincy Jones, Nina Rota, Ennio Morricone, Henry Mancini, Duke Ellington and others and puts the music in the hands of some of today's leading remixers, DJs and producers. Included on this set are Quincy Jones' "They Call Me Mr. Tibbs" and David Shire's “The Taking of Pelham 123” as they are given new mixes by King Britt and Phillip Charles. Also included are the "Love Theme to Ben Hur" and the "Roma Suite" from Fellini's Roma which are taken into new atmospheric heights by ambient texturalists Bombay Dub Orchestra and Bent. Cinematic's other remixers also includes Tom Middleton (one half of the groundbreaking ambient duo, Global Communication), Shawn Lee, Shrift, Zeb. Mark de Clive Lowe, The Real Tuesday Weld and Gaudi.
