STEELY DAN TO TOUR

Steely Dan will return to the road for a spring/summer run that begins May 5 in Memphis. The group, which also toured last summer, has dates on tap through June 10 at New York's Beacon Theatre, the last of a three-night stand at the venue. Other highlights of the itinerary include a May 6 appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. According to a spokesperson, the tour set list may include songs from group member Donald Fagen's 2006 solo album Morph the Cat and colleague Walter Becker's in-progress solo effort. In conjunction with the tour, Rhino will on May 22 release The Donald Fagen Trilogy Collection, compiling his three prior solo albums. A Steely Dan Millennium Collection will arrive Oct. 2 via Universal.
