Patti LaBelle is at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) in New Jersey, on Friday, January 19.

Joss Stone is appearing at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on February 8. Her new CD will be out in the spring.

The CD101.9 Smooth Jazz Valentine’s Day Concert features Dave Koz & Friends featuring Jonathan Butler, David Benoit and a special guest (still to be announced). It’s scheduled for February 14 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.

Earth, Wind & Fire are the headline act for this year’s Downing Concert Series fundraising event set for March 31 in Wichita, Kansas at the Kansas Coliseum. The Downing Concert Series , established by Paula and Barry Downing, assists area non-profit groups with fundraising and awareness. Vocalist Anita Baker, an eight-time Grammy Award winner, has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Traditional R&B Vocal performance category for the song Christmas Time Is Here from her holiday album Christmas Fantasy (Blue Note Records). The awards ceremony will take place Sunday, February 11, 2007, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast on CBS.

Gilles Peterson and Tita Lima are at Hiro Ballroom in New York City on Wednesday, January 24.
