Jazz sax player Candy Dulfer is scheduled to tour Japan with her band beginning this June. Joining her on this trek will be John Blackwell (drums) and Chance Howard(keyboards/vocals), who were part of the Prince tour (along with Candy) last year. The tour kicks off on June 6 and will perform the Blue Note club circuit throughout Japan. The cut off of her latest album ( Finsbury Park, Cafe '67) is still getting considerable airplay on smooth jazz radio. She also has a few dates scheduled for the Netherlands prior to heading for Japan.
The tour dates are as follows:
May 5 - Enschede, The Netherlands (Oude Markt)
May 14 - Capelle a/d Ijssel, The Netherlands (Isala Muziekfestivak)
May 29 - Bloemendaal, The Netherlands (Caprera)
June 6 -11 - Tokyo, Japan (Blue Note)
June 13-14 - Osaka, Japan (Blue Note)
June 15-16 - Fukuoka, Japan (Blue Note)
June 17-18 - Nagoya, Japan (Blue Note)
