Upcoming Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick & Stevie Wonder Albums...Both Aretha Franklin and Dionne Warwick are in the studio working on new albums slated for release in the coming months. Coincidentally, both albums with will feature duets with various artists. Dionne's album is entitled My Friends And Me and will feature duets alongside Gladys Knight, Elton John and Stevie Wonder. Aretha's will feature Gloria Estefan, among others. Stevie Wonder's long awaited release A Time 2 Love is finally due out on May 3, 2005.
The Crusaders and Regina Carter Tour Asia...The Crusaders are on tour in Japan with the following dates scheduled: March 2-3 at the Blue Note in Fuoka, Japan; March 7-12 at the Blue Note in Tokyo, Japan; and March 14-15 at the Blue Note in Osaka, Japan. Regina Carter plays the Hong Kong Cultural Center Concert Hall on March 11 in Wanchai, Hong Kong and theShanghai Concert Hall in Shanghai, China on March 13.
