On June 5, 2008 at her home in Beverly Hills, California, Charo welcomed invited industry guests to hear and dance to the world premiere of her Dance Club remixes of "Espana Cani", the most famous, passionate, and powerful of all Spanish songs. The new CD showcases Charo's amazing guitar virtuosity set to dance club main floor, samba, and progressive rhythms. Charo’s last album, Charo & Guitar was released in 2005 and went platinum worldwide.The CD entitled "Espana Cani: The Remixes Part One" features three club remixes by some of the hottest DJs and dance producers in the country today: Peitor Angell of Los Angeles, Twisted Dee of Orlando, and Julian Marsh of New York. In the meantime, on May 17 Charo made a return visit to Las Vegas, this time to the South Point Hotel and Casino, followed by a May 31 appearance in Rochester, NY as she closes out the Rochester Opera House for the season. Other upcoming concert appearances include a five-day engagement (June 22-27) at the Atlantic City Hilton in New Jersey. In addition, on June 29th, Charo will be a Celebrity Grand Marshal in the upcoming San Francisco Gay Pride Parade. Following the parade she will be performing a concert at the Herbst Theatre.
